September 2004: Lopez Lake

I've spent Labor Day weekend at Lopez Lake, windsurfing. The lake is well known for good thermal winds, starting at noon. It was my second visit after September 2002. Below is a view from top of a neat outlook between the two arms that belong to the lake. The windsurfing area is on the left side.

The panorama was taken in the morning when the water surface was still glossy. The wind picked up at noon, right on time, and the two surfers on the shot had a good time. And so did I.
