My mom broke her femur in December as mentioned in the previous Updater. She became seriously ill afterwards and I therefore went back to Germany in January and February to help her get well again. It was a very tough time. I drove to the hospital almost daily and worked much of the remaining time from home via the Internet. At least I managed to go skiing a couple of times for a few hours. The Panorama below was taken in the Garmisch ski resort.
