Like almost every year, I spent Christmas holidays in Garmisch. Unfortunately, there was very little snow this year and I could go skiing only at runs equipped with snow cannons. But it was cold and the weather was nice, and so I went on several short hikes. The small chapel below commemorates service men from Garmisch who died in the two World Wars. It's situated 100 meters above the village, and is an ideal place for contemplating life while enjoying beautiful views.
