Like almost every year, I spent Christmas holidays in Garmisch. Snow was great. I was skiing almost every morning and hanging out with mom and friends in the afternoons. On New Year's Eve, it snowed about a foot. I went up Zugspitze the next day and arrived shortly after sunrise. The atmosphere was magical.
