Four-National-Parks-Tour
Day 3

Day 3 started with a phenomenal sunrise at our campground. People were sitting on boulders awaiting the sun's first rays.

Also the next picture was taken before the sun was actually up. Rocks, red illuminated clouds, and the moon in the middle made a perfect blend.

Finally, the sun was up and we had our breakfast between some boulders.

We continued our journey through the National Park, passing hundreds of Joshua trees like this one ...

... drove to the vantage point "Key View", which provided awesome views of Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley, the San Jacinto Mountains, and the 11,500-feet-high San Gorgonio in the San Bernadino Mountains. From here, we drove down to Twentynine Palms, where we left the National Park; headed east on "Amboy Road", which does not make the slightest turn for 30 kilometers; and drove through the Mojave desert. The bath house itself is rather primitive. Men and women are strictly separated, which is due to the fact that only nude bathing is allowed.
